Join us for the Super Luke 5K and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in beautiful Goldthwaite, Mills! This uplifting event aims to honor the memory of Luke Garrett Sutherland-Hamilton, a brave young boy who fought against the challenges of cancer. As part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, participants are encouraged to wear gold to show their support while raising funds for Cook Children's Hospital Oncology Families.
The day kicks off with the Kids Fun Run at 9:00 A.M., followed by the 5K race. Check-in will be from 8:15 to 8:45 A.M., so arrive early to get settled! This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels, with registration fees set at $30 for adults (18 & over), $25 for youth (17 & under), and $20 for kids (10 & under) for the fun run. Don't forget to sign up by August 28th to guarantee your event T-shirt! Let's come together to kick cancer to the curb and support one another in this meaningful cause!

in honor of LUKE SUTHERLAND-HAMILTON
Luke Garrett Sutherland-Hamilton, 6 years old, was diagnosed on October 9, 2018, with a metastatic cancerous brain tumor, known as Medulloblastoma. Though he put up a valiant fight, he sadly left this world for a better one on November 9, 2018. Our goal with the Super Luke 5K is two-fold. First, we want to remember the sweet little boy we all knew and loved. Secondly, we want to spread awareness and raise funds to help other families fighting this terrible cancer. Lets all work together to help children KICK CANCER TO THE CURB! As September is childhood cancer awareness month, please wear your GOLD to show your support!
The Kids Fun Run will begin at 9:00 A.M. with the 5K following.
Check-in time will be 8:15-8:45 am.
T-shirts will only be guaranteed on entrants signed up on or before August 28th. Late entries will have their shirts available for pickup by mid-October. T-shirts will not be held after December 2024.
