Our mission is two-fold: to celebrate Luke's spirit and to raise vital funds for families battling pediatric cancer through Cook Children's Hospital Oncology.
The day kicks off with the Kids' Fun Run at 9:00 A.M., followed by the 5K race. Check-in is from 8:15 to 8:45 A.M., and participants are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero or Halloween costumes—prizes will be awarded for the best outfits! With registration fees starting at just $20 for the Kids' Fun Run and $30 for adults, this event promises to be a fun-filled day for all ages and fitness levels. in honor of LUKE SUTHERLAND-HAMILTON
Luke Garrett Sutherland-Hamilton, 6 years old, was diagnosed on October 9, 2018, with a metastatic cancerous brain tumor, known as Medulloblastoma. Though he put up a valiant fight, he sadly left this world for a better one on November 9, 2018. Our goal with the Super Luke 5K is two-fold. First, we want to remember the sweet little boy we all knew and loved. Secondly, we want to spread awareness and raise funds to help other families fighting this terrible cancer. Lets all work together to help children KICK CANCER TO THE CURB!
The Kids Fun Run will begin at 9:00 A.M. with the 5K following.
Check-in time will be 8:15-8:45 am.
T-shirts will only be guaranteed on entrants signed up on or before August 28th. Late entries will have their shirts available for pickup by mid-October. T-shirts will not be held after December 2026.
Bring the family-fun for all ages and fitness levels! NEW THIS YEAR FOR PARTICIPANTS: DRESS UP IN YOUR FAVORITE SUPERHERO OR HALLOWEEN ATTIRE! PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE BEST COSTUMES!
