Get ready for an exciting day of community spirit and fitness at the 14th annual Deerpark PTA Ranger Run on Saturday, October 25th, 2025! Taking place in the beautiful Rattan Creek Park Community Center in Austin, Williamson, this event welcomes runners, walkers, families, and friends from Deerpark Middle School and the surrounding area. Join us at 9 AM for a fun-filled morning that features a timed 5K course and a non-timed 1-mile run, making it accessible for all fitness levels.
With a history of over 400 participants, the Ranger Run is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while supporting a great cause. All proceeds go directly to benefit the teachers, staff, and students of Deerpark Middle School. Don’t miss your chance to earn awards in various categories, including elementary, middle, and high school divisions, as well as age groups for adults. Join us for the 14th annual Ranger Run presented by the Deerpark Middle School PTA @ 9am on Saturday, October 25th. The Ranger Run is not only attended by the families at Deerpark Middle School, the five feeder elementary schools, and the high school (McNeil) but also friends and neighbors around our community. Historically we have had more than 400 runners - since being back after COVID, we are working on getting back to that number!
THIS YEAR IS THE 2ND YEAR FOR OUR 1 MILE RUN IN ADDITION TO OUR STANDARD CHIP-TIMED 5K COURSE! The 1 mile will not be timed but was added to include individuals that may not want to do the 5k but want to participate in the Ranger Run! And despite having the word "Run" in the name, there will be plenty of walkers as well!

In the event the Race should be canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Director (inclement weather or unsafe weather conditions; local, state, or national emergency), refunds will not be made, but race packets, including race shirts, will be available at a location to be determined.
