Get ready to lace up your running shoes and unleash your inner superhero at the Superheroes 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk on Saturday, April 5, 2025! This vibrant event will take place at Lakeway Christian Academy in White Pine, Jefferson, and is a fantastic way for families and community members to come together in celebration of National Autism Awareness Month.
The day kicks off with registration starting at 8 AM, followed by the thrilling 5K race at 9 AM, and a delightful 1 Mile Fun Walk shortly after. Participants will have the chance to compete for a $100 cash prize for the overall top qualifiers in both the male and female categories of the 5K. Plus, everyone is encouraged to showcase their creativity by dressing up in their best superhero costumes for a chance to win prizes in both the 5K and the Fun Walk! Join us for an unforgettable day of fun, fitness, and community spirit while making a difference in support of autism awareness.

Hope & Thrive Academy is a program of Holston Home for Children and licensed by the State of TN Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We provide post-secondary educational opportunities to young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All proceeds from this race will go to provide scholarships for student tuition. -
