Join us for the exciting SVDP Church of Our Saviour FOP Run/Walk on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in beautiful Cocoa Beach, Brevard! This vibrant event is part of the nationwide Friends of the Poor Walk, organized by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, aimed at raising awareness and funds for the local Council of Our Saviour. Participants can look forward to a scenic 2-mile out-and-back route starting from the Church parking lot, winding along Banana River Drive and through the charming residential neighborhood.
The day kicks off with same-day registration and packet pick-up starting at 6:45 AM, followed by the race start at 8:00 AM. All participants will be chip-timed, and awards will be given for various categories, including overall male and female winners, as well as age group awards for youth from ages 5 to 17. Post-race refreshments will be provided, making it a perfect opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments with fellow runners and walkers. Organiser's Description
The Friends of the Poor Walk is a _nationwide signature event_ of the SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL. This event is being held to raise awareness and funds supporting the local Council of Our Saviour's in Cocoa Beach.
This will be a 2 mile out and back run or walk from the Church parking lot onto Banana River Drive and nearby residential neighborhood.
Post-race refreshments will be available for participants.

Packet Pick-up will be located at Cocoa Beach Health and Fitness @ 1355 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 on Friday, 9/20 from 4:00-7:00p.m.
