This vibrant event is part of the nationwide Friends of the Poor Walk, organized to raise awareness and support for the local Conference of Our Saviour. Participants of all ages can enjoy a scenic 5K run or walk, taking off from the church parking lot and winding through the picturesque Banana River Drive and nearby neighborhoods.
Registration is just $28.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids aged Pre-K through 17, with a special free kids dash event following the race. Start your day with same-day registration and packet pick-up at 6:45 AM, leading up to the race kickoff at 8:00 AM. Every participant will be chip-timed, and awards will be given for overall male and female winners, as well as top youth participants in various age categories. Plus, enjoy post-race refreshments to refuel! Bring your furry friends along, as dogs on leashes are welcome. Mark your calendars for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit in Cocoa Beach!

Organiser's Description
The Friends of the Poor Walk is a _nationwide signature event_ of the SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL. This event is being held to raise awareness and funds supporting the local Conference of Our Saviour's in Cocoa Beach.
This will be a 5K out and back run or walk from the Church parking lot onto Banana River Drive and nearby residential neighborhood. Registration fee is $28.00 (plus fees) with a kids registration for ages Pre-K through 17 years old for $15.00 (plus fees). We will have a free kids dash after the 5K is completed.
Post-race refreshments will be available for participants.

Packet Pick-up will be located at Cocoa Beach Health and Fitness @ 1355 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 on Friday, 9/26 from 4:00-7:00p.m.
