Participants are encouraged to make personal donations and gather pledges from supporters, all of which will directly benefit the SVdP District Council of Attleboro, helping neighbors in Attleboro, North Attleboro, Seekonk, Rehoboth, Norton, and Mansfield. Every fundraising walker will receive a complimentary event t-shirt, and attendees can also purchase tickets for a chance to win one of many fabulous raffle baskets. Join us for a day filled with purpose, camaraderie, and the shared goal of alleviating poverty in our community. Together, letβs take meaningful steps toward a brighter and more inclusive future for all!

Come and participate in the 14th annual Friends of the Poor Walk, a heartfelt community event dedicated to aiding those facing economic struggles. Walk alongside us as we raise awareness and funds to support individuals and families in need. Together, we can make a meaningful difference through solidarity and compassion. 100% of the donations will be used for local families needing help with rent, utilities or other emergency assistance.
