About the Race
Join us for our 10th Anniversary! Register by June 7th, 2024 to be guaranteed a Sweaty Yeti Performance Tee.
Sweaty Yeti is a premier 5k and Make a Memory Mile (1-Mile Fun Run) in honor of Christie Barber-Galvin and Kellie Barber. The course starts at Boswell Stadium and winds through nearby wooded trails. The Make a Memory Mile features obstacles and family fun. The 5K is professionally timed and all participants are welcome to join the Make a Memory Mile for no extra charge. All levels of runners and walkers are welcome!!!
All proceeds go to fund the Barber-Galvin Memorial Scholarship.
As a reminder - East Jordan Public Schools does not allow any dogs on their facility grounds, so please keep that in mind for race day. We appreciate your understanding of the school's policy.
COVID-19 Update
Registration is currently open for all races.
As we continue to monitor the safety of holding an in-person event and follow the guidelines from the state of Michigan, we may have to convert our in-person 5K to a fully virtual event and cancel the 1 Mile Fun Run.If this happens, we will automatically convert all in-person registrations to virtual registrations and will not provide refunds.
We will continue to update our list race-day safety precautions for the in-person race as necessary.Race Day Safety Precautions
Current mask and social distancing guidelines will be followedHand sanitizer stands will be placed near the restrooms and the start/finish lineOnly bottled water and pre-packaged snacks will be provided for runners
