This event is not only about running; it’s a chance to make a difference as proceeds benefit The Humane Society of Dickson County, which works tirelessly to save and care for over 1,500 homeless animals each year. Bring your leashed friendly dogs along to join in the fun! Registration is just $40 (plus a transaction fee) if completed by February 2, which includes a t-shirt and a medal for every participant. Day-of registration is available for $45. Don't miss the onsite tent featuring adoptable pets and the opportunity to learn more about the importance of spaying and neutering. The Sweetheart Strut timed 5k will start at 9:00 a.m. A 1 mile fun run/walk will start at 9:30. These events support The Humane Society of Dickson County as we continue to save lives. The Humane Society of Dickson County adopts out about 1500 homeless animals a year, providing vet care, shelter and other costs when needed to help save an animal's life. Additionally HSDC is continuing to educate the community about the importance of spay and neuter. Please join us for this fun event! Leashed friendly dogs are welcome to run with human runners. Montgomery Bell State Park at the Swimming/Boat Parking area.
