Join us for the 6th annual Team RunFree "Miles of Smiles" 5K race on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in the charming town of Adel, Dallas! This exciting event promises a fun-filled day as participants race through the picturesque streets, parks, and trails of Adel. The main event features a thrilling 5K race covering 3.1 miles, but this year, we're also introducing a walkers category with a scenic 2-mile route, ensuring everyone can join in on the fun!
Celebrate a decade of Team RunFree with us as we mark our 10-year "smilestone." The race kicks off near the Community Stage and Pavilion at 10th and Main, and for just $25, you can be part of this uplifting experience. All participants will enjoy a delicious breakfast from Chick-fil-A, snacks, ice cream treats from Billie's Ice Cream Shop, and fresh coffee from The Rooted Bean. Plus, medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each age and gender group! Don’t miss out on packet pick-up on June 20th or the morning of the race. Come for the race, stay for the smiles, and let's make memories together!

Our 6th annual Team RunFree 'Miles of Smiles' 5K race is happening on Saturday, June 21st ! Get ready for another fun race through the streets, parks and trails of Adel. Our Team RunFree and Synergy adaptive running teams will again be sharing the road and supplying 'miles of smiles' as they race the 3.1 mile course. Annnd ... this year we have added a walkers category with a 2 mile route.
Team Run Free is 10 years old this year - it is our 10 year 'smilestone' , and we want to celebrate that great news on race day. And the exciting part - your race registration fee is just $25.
The 5K race and the 2 mile walk will begin and end near the Community Stage and Pavilion at 10th and Main in Adel. Medals will be awarded to the top 2 finishers in each age/gender group.
In addition to a fun chip-timed 5K race, all racers and volunteers will enjoy a Chick-fil-A breakfast sandwich, fruit, snacks, ice cream treat from Billie's Ice Cream Shop and fresh brewed coffee from The Rooted Bean. All participants can choose either a Team RunFree campfire coffee mug or a TRF cooling towel. MANY thanks to Lincoln Savings Bank for sponsoring us and making this race a reality. And we are grateful to Billie's for their generosity. We wish you a great race, an enjoyable meal and the inspiration to 'pay it forward'.
