Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 7th annual Team RunFree "Miles of Smiles" 5K race on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Adel, Dallas! This exciting event promises a fun-filled day as participants navigate a vibrant new course through the charming streets, parks, and trails of Adel. Runners will tackle a 3.1-mile course, while walkers can join in on the action with a dedicated 2-mile route. Early birds will enjoy a fantastic registration fee of just $15, which increases to $20 on May 1st and $25 on June 1st, so don’t wait to secure your spot!
In addition to a chip-timed race, participants and volunteers will be treated to a delicious breakfast courtesy of Chick-fil-A, along with refreshments from The Rooted Bean. All racers will also receive a stylish pair of Team RunFree socks and medals will be awarded to the top two finishers in each age and gender category. Our 7th annual Team RunFree 'Miles of Smiles' 5K race is happening on Saturday, June 13 ! Get ready for another fun race through the streets, parks and trails of Adel. Our Team RunFree and Synergy adaptive running teams will again be sharing the road and supplying even more smiles as they race the 3.1 mile course. Annnd ... walkers have their own category with a 2 mile route.
Early sign-ups will be rewarded with an extra special price of just $15 The price will bump to $20 on May 1st, then $25 on June 1st.
Due to Adel street construction, our regular race route has changed dramatically. Runners and walkers will have an entirely new route - at least for this year. When the new route for 2026 is finalized and approved, we will add a description and a map.
Medals will be awarded to the top 2 finishers in each age/gender runner group.
In addition to a fun chip-timed 5K race, all racers and volunteers will enjoy a Chick-fil-A breakfast sandwich, fruit, snacks and fresh brewed coffee from The Rooted Bean. All participants will receive a really neat looking pair of Team RunFree socks. MANY thanks to Lincoln Savings Bank for sponsoring us and making this race a reality. We wish you a great race, an enjoyable meal and the inspiration to 'pay it forward'.
