Each summer, over 800 enthusiastic runners, ranging from ages 5 to 95, take part in the 5K race, making it a fantastic event for athletes of all skill levels.
Participants can challenge themselves in the Fast and Furious race or cheer on the littlest runners in the adorable Diaper Dash, where young supporters can crawl across the finish line. With a vibrant Cheer Squad of more than 500 spectators motivating everyone along the course, the atmosphere is electric! The day wraps up with a delightful brunch and an awards ceremony to honor the top performers in each age group. Join us for a day of community spirit and help support children in need, all while having a blast!

Organiser's Description
Established in 2012, the Team SBH 5K has become one of our most popular fundraisers of the year. Every summer over 800 runners ranging from age 5 to 95 sign up to run through the seaside town of Deal, located just a few miles from Long Branch, NJ. Runners of all levels compete in our 5K; our elite runners tackle the Fast and Furious race, while our signature Diaper Dash gives our youngest supporters a chance to crawl across the finish line. Our Cheer Squad of over 500 spectators cheer their family and friends along the course. The event culminates with a brunch and award ceremony for the top runners in each age group. Proceeds from this event will be used by SBH to help children in need.

Race is scored by assigning a point value for a runners finishing placement. If a runner finishes first, they will earn one point. Finishing 50th would earn 50 points THE LOWEST TEAM SCORE WINS. In the event of a tie, the team whose first-place runner has the best time is declared the winner. -
