COME LIGHT UP THE NIGHT WITH OUR NEW GLOW RUN
WHEN AND WHERE: NEW LOCATION AND 5K COURSE! The Teens With a Mission (TWAM) 5K and Fun Run will be held in Salisbury, North Carolina, on the greenway and in the Stanback Ecological Preserve on Friday evening, May 2nd 2025.
The Half Mile Super Hero Fun Run will be on the Greenway start at 6:30 p.m. followed by the 5K at 7:00 p.m. It is designed to appeal to walkers, joggers, casual runners, competitive runners and elite runners.
RACE COURSE:
* HALF MILE FUN RUN: Will be an out and back on the greenway. The greenway will be lined with our Teens with a Mission Youth Group Cheering your fun runner on.
* TWAM 5K COURSE: This run will start at Overton Elementary School, run into the Greenway, then into the Stanback Ecological Preserve for a shaded and scenic loop. Once you exit the preserve you will go onto the Greenway for the rest of the run/jog/walk. It is designed to appeal to walkers, joggers, casual runners, competitive runners and elite runners.
PROCEEDS: All funds raised during this event will go to the work of Teens With A Mission, who work to help families in need and reach out to the community to share Gods love. Keep pounding! Hammers for runners! Houses for families in need!
RACE DAY CHECK-IN AND REGISTRATION: 5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. on site. 5K ($30) and Fun Run ($15).
AWARDS: 5k Run/Walk - Top 3 Overall Female and Male, Top Masters Male & Female (40 & Over), 3 Deep Age Group Awards Male and Female. Top Overall Male and Female runners will each receive dinner for 2 and 2 tickets to a Downtown Production. Masters, 1st & 2nd and 3rd place Age Group winners receive our one of a kind hammer award. Overall Winners not eligible for Age Group Awards.
1/2-Mile Fun Run - Top 3 Overall age 12 and under, Medals to all other fun run finishers
Awards will not be mailed. Please make arrangements to pick up.
