Organiser's Description
This will be the first event hosted by The Locke A. Taylor Compassion Project. It is on October 18th from 8am-2pm at Crump Park in Glen Allen, VA. The event is family friendly, children & dogs welcome. The 5k will take place inside the park. There will be food trucks, vendors, a children's area, and more! Proceeds will go to helping pet owners in our community that are struggling financially to get much needed medical care for their pet. Children in strollers are FREE!

This walk/run will be for children under the age of 6. It will be a short distance with a small prize for participants. Parents can stroll their children for this event as well. This is a way for littles to be able to participate.
