Kick off your morning at 8:30 AM with this flat and fast USATF certified 5K course, perfect for seasoned runners and newcomers alike. But that’s not all! Bring the whole family for the fun-filled Caboose Run, a half-mile event for kids starting at approximately 8:45 AM, right after the main race. Dogs are welcome on a leash, making this a fantastic day for everyone. Awards will be presented to the top finishers in various age and gender categories, plus overall winners! Gather your friends and family to participate in this uplifting community event that promotes fitness and fun for all ages. THE 49TH ANNUAL BOYS & GIRLS CLUB SELMA RAILROAD RUN 5K IS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH, 2025 AT 8:30AM. This 5K road course is a flat and fast USATF certified course.
THE 5K REGISTRATION FEE IS $25 PER PERSON AS AN EARLY BIRD DEAL UNTIL 8/20/25. FEE IS $35 AFTER 8/20/25. AN AWESOME SHORT-SLEEVE RAILROAD RUN RACE T-SHIRT IS INCLUDED FREE WITH REGISTRATION, BUT WE CAN ONLY GUARANTEE A SIZE FOR THOSE REGISTERED BEFORE 8/31/25.
All participants have the option to be timed with a race bib, but recreational non-timed participants are very welcome and will have a great time. Only timed participants will receive an official record of their finish time. DOGS ARE WELCOME - must be kept on a leash at all times. And don't forget about the Caboose Run: at approx. 8:45am we will host a 1/2 Mile Kids Caboose Run from the starting line just after the registered runners take off - no need to register for that particular event.
Awards will be given to the top runners in age and gender categories, plus overall male and female winners. Categories are ages 6-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.
