Participants can choose between a challenging 5K run or a fun-filled 1-mile run, with registration fees set at $35 and $25 respectively.
Not only will this race bring together runners and their families, but it also serves a greater purpose—benefiting the Lenoir Memorial Foundation. Runners are encouraged to honor loved ones affected by heart-related issues by wearing specially provided "In Honor" or "In Memory" stickers during the race. Embrace the spirit of Heart Month by donning heart-themed costumes or colors for a chance to win exciting prizes in our spirit categories! With awards for the top male and female finishers across various age groups, plus swag bags for all participants and T-shirts for those who register by January 22nd, this is an event you won't want to miss. Come run, celebrate, and support heart health in our community!

THIS PURPOSE OF THIS RACE IS TO BRING TOGETHER THE HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY AND TO HIGHLIGHT HEART MONTH. WE WANT TO EMPHASIZE HEALTH, WELLNESS, AND THE IMPORTANCE OF HEART HEALTH. WE WANT TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE HEART RELATED SERVICES AVAILABLE AT OUR FACILITY. WE HOPE THAT THIS RACE WILL BECOME AN ANNUAL COMMUNITY EVENT! WE WILL HAVE PROVIDERS ON SITE TO SPEAK WITH YOU ON RACE DAY! ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE LENOIR MEMORIAL FOUNDATION. ADDITIONALLY, RUNNERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO RUN IN HONOR OF SOMEONE DEALING WITH HEART RELATED DIAGNOSES OR IN MEMORY OF SOMEONE LOST TO HEART RELATED DIAGNOSES. WE WILL HAVE IN HONOR/IN MEMORY STICKERS FOR PARTICIPANTS TO WEAR DURING THEIR RUN. WE WILL HAVE RED RIBBONS FOR PARTICIPANTS AS WELL. RUNNERS ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO ADORN THEMSELVES IN HEART MONTH COLORS, OR HEART THEMED COSTUMES AND TO ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO WIN IN SPIRIT CATEGORIES!
