Join us for the vibrant 5th TORRANCE TROT 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the beautiful town of Torrance, Westmoreland. This uplifting event aims to raise awareness about mental health while fostering community spirit. Participants can compete in the 5K run or walk to support the Torrance State Hospital-Patient Fund, helping to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top performers in each age group, promoting a fun and competitive atmosphere.
For families, there's a free Kid's Fun Run for ages 9 and under, kicking off at 8:30 AM, where every young participant will receive a medal for their efforts. Kids can also enjoy face painting, games, and other activities throughout the day. Don't forget to pre-register for a chance to secure a kid's t-shirt for just $5. Race day registration is available for $25, but be aware that shirts are not guaranteed. Let’s come together as a community on this special day to support mental health and celebrate well-being!

Organiser's Description
Everyone has been touched by mental illness in some way--either through our own struggle or through witnessing the struggle of a friend or family member. Please help put an end to the stigma of mental illness by joining us for the 4th _TORRANCE TROT _(benefitting the Torrance State Hospital-Patient Fund). We will have a limited amount of kid's size t-shirts available as well for $5.00. This year will feature the addition of a Kids "fun run" and other fun activities for children. The fun run will be will be free of charge (donations are welcome), but there will be a $5.00 charge for a kids t-shirt. Prizes will be raffled off after the race as well!!! We will also have food trucks/vendors available. -
