This vibrant event will take place at the Mt Eden High School track in Hayward, Alameda, featuring a thrilling 5K race along with a fun 1-mile run/walk. Participants can look forward to the first wave of the 5K starting at 11 AM, followed by the second wave at 12 PM, and the 1-mile run/walk kicking off at 1 PM.
After the races, join in the festivities at the Annual Hayward Juneteenth Celebration from 12 PM to 6 PM, where you can enjoy live music and performances in the Mt Eden High School courtyard. With special attractions like a shoe demo by Adidas and a hydration station sponsored by Fohl Realty, there’s something for everyone! Don’t forget to grab your T-shirt and other prizes, and every finisher will receive a unique Hayward medal designed by local artist Louis Jimenez. Join us for our first Hayward 5K medal run and 1 mile run / walk at the Mt Eden High School track followed by the Annual Hayward Juneteenth Celebration hosted by West Coast Makers and the Juneteenth Committee at the Mt Eden High School courtyard with live music and performances from 12 - 6pm. Adidas will be also be onsite for a shoe demo. Hydration station sponsored by Fohl Realty. T shirt giveaways and other prizes as well!!!
