Get ready for an exciting weekend of fitness and fun at The City Eats & Stack Run Club - Hayward 5K, taking place from June 20th to June 29th, 2026, at the scenic Mt Eden High School track in Hayward, Alameda. This vibrant event features a 5K race and a 1-mile run/walk, making it perfect for runners of all levels. Join us on Saturday, June 20th, at 10 AM for the first wave of the 5K, with additional waves at 11 AM and 12 PM, followed by the 1-mile run/walk at 1 PM.
After the races, stick around for the Annual Hayward Juneteenth Celebration in the Mt Eden High School courtyard, running from 12 PM to 6 PM, where you can enjoy live music and performances, as well as a shoe demo by Adidas. Don’t miss out on fun giveaways, including T-shirts and prizes, plus every finisher will receive a unique Hayward medal designed by talented local artist Louis Jimenez. Join us for our first Hayward 5K medal run and 1 mile run / walk at the Mt Eden High School track followed by the Annual Hayward Juneteenth Celebration hosted by West Coast Makers and the Juneteenth Committee at the Mt Eden High School courtyard with live music and performances from 12 - 6pm. Adidas will be also be onsite for a shoe demo. Hydration station sponsored by Fohl Realty. T shirt giveaways and other prizes as well!!! We will be taking pictures and videos at this event for news & social media outlets.

Adding a virtual option and Wave A to accommodate for the sold out Hayward 5K event. You can use this option to run virtually solo or run with your friends and have the medal mailed to you. You can also join us on site on June 20th for our Wave A at 10am and then receive your medal in the mail. Please note ALL MEDALS FOR THIS WAVE WILL BE MAILED OUT after June 30th. WE WILL NOT HAVE MEDALS FOR THIS WAVE ON SITE!!! We've ordered additional medals to accommodate for the demand. You do not need to submit time to get your medal. Run at your own convenience. Free shipping included. As this is a virtual and optional in person wave, we won't be allocating meals for this wave.
