The Delaware Down Syndrome Walk began in 2004 as an opportunity to promote awareness and acceptance for people with Down syndrome. It has grown into a large Family Fun Day featuring an Awareness Loop and 5K run. Funds raised from the Delaware Down Syndrome Walk allow us to support families, promote community involvement, and encourage a lifetime of opportunities for people with Down syndrome.
This event includes a 5K that starts at 10AM (check-in begins at 9AM). Stick around after the 5K for awards, our Awareness Loop that celebrates individuals with Down syndrome, raffles, inflatables, face-painting, performances, and much more!
