Event summary
Runners will take on a thrilling 1-mile downhill course that lets gravity do some of the work while you enjoy the rush of racing. With race categories for everyone, from the Open Mile to the Elite Race, thereβs a place for every level of runner to shine. The event kicks off at 6:30 PM, with an open race for those clocking in at 7:00 minutes per mile or faster starting shortly thereafter.
After crossing the finish line at the brewery, participants can celebrate with cold brews provided by HAULIN HOPS, along with awards, music, and a lively atmosphere! Welcome to the fastest mile race in South Carolina a 1-mile lightning bolt down the streets of Greenville.
The Downville Mile is where you come to let gravity do a little of the talking and your legs do the rest. This is a mile built for speed, swagger, and that special kind of joy that only happens when the course tilts downhill and your brain goes, "we're doing WHAT pace right now?"
Whether you're faster than a speeding bullet or just want to see what it feels like to fly, this race is for YOU. The Open Mile is perfect for speedsters of every stride your first mile, your fastest mile, your funnest mile.

PACKET PICKUP: Confluence Center, 575 Mauldin Rd #200, Greenville, SC 29607 5:00pm to 6:00pm
PARKING: Parking is at the Confluence Center, which is at the FINISH LINE of the race. All participants must walk/run to the start line as their warm-up before their race begins please plan your travel time so races can start on schedule. Beginner runners/walkers may be driven to the start line, but _ALL CARS MUST BE OFF THE COURSE BY 6:00PM_.
