Here is the race you have been waiting for! The Dwight Bershaw Memorial .5K (that's right, a .5K) fun run is the race that anyone can run! At just .5 kilometers you don't even have to train!
Does 1/2 kilometer seem like a lot? No way......so let's break it down. 1/2 of a kilometer = 546.8 yards = .31 miles = 1,640 feet = 19,685 inches! That's it!
The race is on Saturday, September 6th @ 10:00am, and everyone should be done by 10:15am!. Worried about bonking? Well don't worry because there will be a donut and water station at the halfway point. Every participant will receive a "University of Coeur d'Alene" t-shirt, AND, each finisher will receive a pretentious European oval sticker for your car window so you can tell everyone you finished a .5K!
