WHY RUN / WALK THE EAGLE CHASE 5K?
AT ASHLAND ELEMENTARY, WE TRY TO TAKE OUR 4TH AND 5TH GRADE STUDENTS ON AT LEAST ONE OUTSIDE-THE-CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE EVERY SINGLE MONTH. THESE TRIPS COME WITH A PRICE, AND WE NEVER WANT ANY STUDENT TO MISS OUT ON THESE OPPORTUNITIES BECAUSE OF THE FINANCIAL BURDEN THEY COULD PUT ON FAMILIES. THESE FIELD TRIPS HELP EXPOSE OUR SCHOLARS TO PATHWAYS THEY MAY NEVER HAVE KNOWN ABOUT WHETHER ITS IN THE ARTS, SCIENCE, OR POSSIBLE FUTURE CAREERS!
