The race begins at 6:00 p.m. EST, with check-in and packet pickup starting at 5:00 p.m.
Participants can register for just $20, which includes an event t-shirt when registered by April 28. We are especially proud to honor our local heroes, as Rockcastle County first responders can join the race for free! Kids aged 4-12 are also invited to run at no cost (shirt not included). Compete for awards in various age categories and see if you can claim the title of fastest first responder! JOIN US TO HONOR ROCKCASTLE COUNTYS FIRST RESPONDERS AT THE EMERGENCY MILE. IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED RUNNER, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO TEST YOUR SPEED ON A NEARLY LEVEL ONE-MILE COURSE. IF YOURE NEW TO RUN/WALKS, THIS IS THE PERFECT WAY TO START WITH A LESS CHALLENGING DISTANCE. EITHER WAY, YOU ARE HONORING THOSE IN OUR COUNTY THAT WE COULD NOT DO WITHOUT.
