The Equalizer Groad Gravel Race rolls out in 2025 from Marthasville Mo!
Will 2025 have a 10k and 20k run? Yes.
Will 2025 have a 200K Equalizer XL? muhahaha probably.. Start training now..
Free onsite camping in Wessel Park and the KT Caboose Friday and Saturday night!tent
Showers and bathrooms available across the street and at the KT Caboose!
50K or 100K loop. 1800' and 4100' respectively. The 50 and 100 will stay together until mile 5.
For the runners you know and love, there is a 10k Loop on the Katy and up the cliff into Marthasville. A bit of an Equalizer in its own right! Chip timed as well.
Expect a well marked course that boasts new gravel this year, and the KOM/QOM Gravel Strava segement climb award "The Kersten Krusher" The King of the Groad 6 mile Segment is the other KOM/QOM up for grabs again. Both Segment starts and stops will be marked.
The 50K sees some new gravel and roads for this year and also includes a 5 mile out and back through a few of the famous creek crossings! The 100k gets new roads plus will enjoy the full classic Equalizer loop through Warrenton and all of the most awesome and refreshing creek crossings from last year.
Regardless all get the opportunity to hammer the fast road sections peppered by limestone gravel through the rolling countryside of Marthasville and Warrenton through the Aid stations and checkpoints back into racers village for a CX style finish. Speaking of Hammers, have you seen the 1st place awards? (the Strava Segment awards aren't too shabby either) Medals to 3rd place, and top 5 overall will have their name printed on next years shirt.
The Equalizer is fast enough for the pavement pounder, yet technical enough for the gravel grinders, and most importanter.. Fun and safe for everyone. Aid station for both distances, (The 100k sees it 2wice) Bring your sag bag, we will have it ready for you there. Trailing/roaming sag as well.
Post race food, snacks, beverages, music, podiums, pics, Equalizer Black T-shirt available for those who registered by 6-15. The name of last years top 5 M/F in both distances will be printed on the back, Forever immortalized in glorious glory of course. Award Ceremony and awards for the Top 3 in all A.G.10yr increments. AND Overall M/F. Post Race Raffle for other goodies, working on a band and bonfire, so stick around!
Special awards for 2 Strava KOM segments on race day. (must be done during race and on strava) Simply upload and show your Kingly/Queenly status to be elgible for a KOM gravel crown trophy. They are sweet. You will see signs for the segment start/stops, Routes are linked below, you can peep the segments there but be sure to download the GPX because why not.
100 K rolls AT 7:30 am Sunday Morning! 50K rolls at 7:35! The run runs off at 8:00
