In addition to the mile race, this year’s event introduces the Ring Road Relay, a unique 3k relay that invites teams of three runners to showcase their speed and teamwork. With awards for various categories, including overall male and female finishers, masters, youth, and age group winners, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this vibrant community event! Packet pick-up begins at 7 AM at the Indian Hunter Statue, with races kicking off at 8 AM. The GBTC Mile is a fast mile competition in Delaware Park. Runners begin the race on Ring Rd at the Indian Hunter Statue and head counterclockwise downhill towards the Zoo finishing just before The Juicery at Meadow Rd. The race will be divided into heats determined by participants estimated finish times.
This year we will introduce the Ring Road Relay. The Ring Road Relay is a 3k relay around Ring Rd consisting of three runners. The first runner begins at the Indian Hunter Statue with the last runner finishing just after the Indian Hunter Statue.
