COME SUPPORT THE GEM FOUNDATION [https://www.thegemfoundation.com] WITH ITS FIRST EVER 5K RUN/WALK IN AUGUSTA, MAINE. The Gem Foundation, a registered 501(c)3, is a home and safe place for abandoned, abused, and neglected children and adults with special needs on a campus we call Gem Village located in Kakiri, Uganda. HAVE FUN, TEST YOUR ENDURANCE, AND SUPPORT THE OPENING OF OUR NEW MEDICAL CLINIC.
The Gem Foundation is launching a medical clinic to provide essential healthcare services not only to the children and adults residing within Gem Village and to our Ugandan staff and their families, but also to the broader community, increasing access to quality healthcare and fostering long-term sustainability. Our goal is to establish a fully functional medical clinic that meets the ongoing healthcare needs of the surrounding communities.
