Starting at the beautiful Uptown Greenwood Fountain, this winter race promises to be a fantastic opportunity for serious runners to launch their training season while also welcoming novices looking to get fit.
With registration opening at 7:30 AM and races beginning at 8:30 AM, participants can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with community spirit as they run through the scenic streets of Greenwood. Over 150 athletes are expected to take part, adding to the festive ambiance. Awards will be presented at 10:00 AM, recognizing the top male and female finishers as well as age group winners, with cash prizes for overall champions. JOIN US FOR THE GREENWOOD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S 13TH ANNUAL "RUN YOUR ICE OFF" 5K AND 8K RACES _PRESENTED BY SELF REGIONAL HEALTHCARE_. GET FIT FOR THE NEW YEAR BY TAKING THE "RUN YOUR ICE OFF" CHALLENGE! THIS WINTER RACE IS A COMPETITIVE EVENT. IT KICKS OFF THE TRAINING SEASON FOR SERIOUS RUNNERS AND OFFERS NOVICES AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXERCISE AND GET IN SHAPE FOR THE NEW YEAR. THE EVENT ATTRACTS OVER 150 ATHLETES FROM GREENWOOD AND THE UPSTATE. THIS SPECIAL EVENT OFFERS EXPOSURE TO GREENWOOD CHAMBER MEMBERS BY PROVIDING LOCAL AND REGIONAL ATHLETES WITH AN AWARENESS OF THEIR COMPANY'S PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.
