The Izzo family has partnered with Playmakers to host this premier experience on the campus of Michigan State University. The mission is to bring together MSU alumni and communities from all across the state and beyond in a shared commitment to giving back, supporting meaningful causes, and building a lasting legacy of service. The events include a 5K Run/Walk, 5K Roll, 1/2 K Walk/Roll, Kids' Races, and a Virtual 5K; all centered on fitness, fun, family, Spartan spirit, and the power of charitable impact.
Proceeds from the 2026 Izzo Run/Walk/Roll will support charity partners and an endowment for The Izzo Legacy that will ensure charitable giving for years to come. In addition, participants can donate to select local charities through the registration process or on the donation page [https://runsignup.com/Race/Donate/MI/EastLansing/TheIzzo].

CLOSEDThe Roll division welcomes participants with physical disabilities to participate using hand cycles, wheelchairs, and walking-assistive devices. Besides strollers, which are allowed in both the 5K Run/Walk and 1/2 Mile Walk/Roll, all other forms of wheeled devices are prohibited. This includes bikes, rollerblades, and scooters. Please note: Those using a wheelchair, hand cycle, or walking-assistive device can also participate in the 1/2 Mile Walk/Roll if that is the preferred distance. -
