Join fellow runners as you meet outside the Cadman Plaza Post Office at 6:30 AM, with the run officially starting at 7:00 AM. The course will take you over the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and into the heart of the city, where you can enjoy the sights while achieving your running goals. With no timing chips or bibs, the focus here is purely on camaraderie and shared experiences. Plus, every participant will receive a stylish 5-Borough Series t-shirt after the run. Forget the frantic pace of the race clock and the crowded corrals - The JURCS 2026 10K/10M 5-BOROUGH SERIES is bringing a different kind of energy to the pavement. From April through October, were hosting 5 laid-back, community-first tours of NYC thats more about the miles and the memories than the podium. Whether youre looking to cruise through a scenic 10K or stretch your legs with a steady 10-Miler.
No timing chips, no pressure, just great routes, better company, and a shared journey toward those running goals.
We are keeping the momentum going with a special edition run in conjunction with SUMMER STREETS! Please meet us outside of the CADMAN PLAZA POST OFFICE in Brooklyn by 6:30 AM; wheels up (and feet moving!) at 7:00 AM sharp.
PARKING: You will need to park near Cadman Plaza East or in the Brooklyn Bridge area and make your way over to the main entrance of the Post Office.
THE COURSE: We will run together over the BROOKLYN BRIDGE to the starting point of SUMMER STREETS, then head completely uptown. This is a straight up and back but we end the run at the foot of the bridge on NYC side since by that time foot traffic on the bridge makes it hard to run. We than do a one mile cool down walk back to the Post office.

10-Miler Option: Run uptown to 72nd Street. (Link to course [https://onthegomap.com/s/qnc33d6a])
NOTE: This will not be a race, but instead a collaborative long run. To keep things low-key and focused on the miles, we will NOT be providing bibs or timing the run. We encourage everyone to track their own miles on Strava or Garmin.
