Get ready for an exciting weekend of fun and fitness at The Mommy Dash 5K, taking place from April 25th to April 27th, 2025, in the beautiful Wappingers Falls, Dutchess County! After a hiatus since 2021, this beloved community event is back and better than ever, inviting families and friends to come together for a day of running, walking, and celebration.
On Sunday, April 27th, lace up your running shoes and join us on the stunning Dutchess County Rail Trail for a professionally timed 5K race (3.1 miles) starting at 8:30 am, followed by a delightful Kid Fun Run (1/2 mile) at 8:15 am. Whether you're a seasoned runner or taking your first steps, there’s a place for everyone! With exciting prizes for the top three finishers in both male and female categories (ages 13 and up) as well as age group winners, the competition will be fierce yet friendly. Plus, all kids participating in the fun run will receive a special treat at the finish line! We are BACK!! Our last event was 2021, and we have missed walking/running with all of you so much! Join us at this year's 5K and Kid Fun Run on Sunday, April 27th on the Dutchess County Rail Trail. We will continue our commitment to giving back to our community by donating a portion of our proceeds to the newly established Terry D'Amato Scholarship Fund, honoring the life and legacy of Alicia's mom.
The Kid Run (1/2 mile) will start at 8:15 am and the 5K (3.1 miles) will begin at 8:30 am. This race will be professionally timed and there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place males and females (ages 13 and up) as well as age group winners.
Race day registration is from 7-7:30.
All kids who participate in the fun run will receive a treat at the finish line.
