Welcome to the 47th Running of the Spring Lake Five Mile Run, Inc. In 1977, five hundred runners lined up for the first Spring Lake Five. Thanks to your help, the race has grown into one of the country's biggest and best running events.
The Spring Lake Five Mile Run is organized by the Spring Lake Five Race Committee and Race Director Ed Hale, under the guidance of the Friends of the Spring Lake Five Inc., a not-for-profit organization. After payment of Race expenses, all proceeds from the Race are donated to charitable organizations or allocated for town projects. Since 2002, the race has donated over $3,713,713 local charities, volunteer organizations, town initiatives and Spring Lake Recreation.

CLOSEDEntry Fee: $60 entry fee for the 5-Mile Race includes your choice of unisex-sized 100% cotton, heavyweight t-shirt or you may select a technical, wicking shirt. The tech shirt will be offered in both Mens and Women's sizes. Please select your shirt style and size carefully. Note: for 2025 Women's sizing runs true-to-size. -

EARLY KIDS' RACE REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN ONLINE THRU 6:00 PM WEDNESDAY, MAY 20. Bibs will not be mailed after May 11th, but will be available for pick up at the Spring Lake Train Station or after 4:00pm at the race site. Race Day registration available 10 am to 3 pm at the Spring Lake Train Station, then 4:30 pm to Race Time on Ocean Avenue, near Atlantic Avenue (race site). Age and Distance Info Under 4 - 25 yards 4 years old - 50 yards 5/6 years old -100 yards 7/8 years old - 200 yards 9-14 years old - Quarter Mile Kids races begin with youngest age groups and proceed through to the oldest.
