Get ready for an exhilarating experience that makes a difference! Join us as we embark on our 4th annual Walk Home, this year with a 5k run option. You can participate in this family friendly event as a 5k runner or a 1-mile fun walker or runner. No matter what you do, it will be a great day to trot through Garfield Park in support of under-resourced pregnant and parenting women in our community!
Events like The Walk Home support the Haven Home’s transformative work in the Slavic Village community. Please join us for this family friendly event that will include raffle baskets, games for the kids and post-race snacks and drinks. Can’t be there? Consider a donation instead! Make a Donation Now

12:00 PM - Packet Pick Up and Registration Opens2:00 PM - Chip-timed 5k run/walk begins2:05 PM - 1 Mile Walk beginsAwards and refreshments to follow!
Run/Walk Route
Start at Rock Community Church Parking Lot
- Left onto Garfield Blvd
- Enter Multipurpose Trail after Turney rd
- Follow outside loop clockwise
- Water Stop will be off of the trail near Garfield Park Red Oak shelter
- Exit loop on Multipurpose trail
- Enter road before Turney rd
- Continue on Garfield Blvd
- Right into Church Parking Lot to Finish
