This exciting event features a Sprint Duathlon, comprising a 2-mile run, a 12.4-mile bike ride, and a final 2-mile run, along with a fun Kids Mini Duathlon that includes a 1-mile run, a 5-mile bike ride, and a ½-mile run. For those new to the multi-sport scene, the Novice Sprint Duathlon offers the same distances as the Sprint, ensuring everyone can participate and enjoy the thrill of competition!
The race will be held on a scenic out-and-back course along the closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. With an aid station stocked with water and Gatorade, along with post-race hospitality featuring refreshments and awards, this event promises not only a challenging race but also a fantastic community atmosphere.
