Join us for the uplifting Stigma Stomp on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the beautiful Currituck County Community Park in Barco, NC! This inspiring event kicks off at 8 AM and invites participants of all abilities to run or walk in support of mental health and suicide prevention awareness. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll, the course is stroller and carriage friendly, making it accessible for everyone.
Participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere complete with a T-shirt, finisher's medal, and chip timing, along with light refreshments after the race. You'll also have the opportunity to visit our memory board to honor loved ones and engage with guest speakers dedicated to mental health advocacy. It's a perfect chance to come together as a community, support a vital cause, and make a difference in the lives of those in need. Registration fees are just $38 for adults, $30 for teens, and $25 for children aged 6-12, while kids 5 and under can join for free. There is no pre race day checkin. Race day Packet check-in/Packet pickup opens at 6:50AM race morning at the Start/Finish Line

Parking and porta johns are available on-site. This year's course is stroller/carriage friendly. Service animals only please.

Your fellowship and support is wanted. You do not have to run to join us. Guest speakers and memorial boards will be on hand,

Net proceeds from this event are used to support mental health and suicide awareness in the North Eastern North Carolina region. It is our goal to bring education, awareness and assistance to those in need of crisis intervention. As well, to form partnerships with like minded organizations in Christian spirit and support.
