Join us for the uplifting Stigma Stomp event on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Barco, Currituck, as we unite to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. The event kicks off at 8 AM at the Currituck County Extension Center, conveniently located next to the YMCA at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917. Participants can choose to run or walk along a stroller-friendly course, making it the perfect opportunity for families to come together in support of this important cause.
From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted with a vibrant atmosphere filled with community spirit. Enjoy packet pick-up starting at 6:50 AM, followed by a day filled with meaningful activities, including guest speakers and a chance to honor loved ones on our memory board. Every participant will receive a commemorative T-shirt, a finishers medal, and light refreshments to celebrate your achievement. Registration fees are $38 for adults, $30 for teens, and $25 for children aged 6-12, with free entry for those 5 and under. There is no pre race day checkin. Race day Packet check-in/Packet pickup opens at 6:50AM race morning at the Start/Finish Line

Parking and restrooms are available on-site. This year's course is stroller/carriage friendly. Service animals only please.
All participants will receive T-shirt, finishers medal, chip timing, light refreshments after your finish and commemorative wristbands.
Take a moment to visit our memory board and leave a note or picture for loved ones or in memoriam.
Your fellowship and support is wanted. You do not have to run to join us. Guest speakers and memorial boards will be on hand,
as well as the opportunity to volunteer or make a donation.
