In addition to the triathlon, participants can enjoy a scenic 5K Fun Run around Lake Icaria, perfect for those looking to experience the beautiful trails without the competitive edge of the triathlon. Please note that strollers and pets are not allowed on the trail due to the terrain. With awards for the top finishers in both the Sprint Triathlon and the Fun Run, this event promises to be a fantastic opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills and enjoy a day of fun and fitness. Don’t forget to pick up your race packet on Friday, August 22, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the CHI Wellness Center, or on race day from 6:30 AM to 7:30

SPRINT TRIATHLON
CHI Health Mercy Corning and Lake Icaria are teaming up to put on the 2nd Annual TimberTri Sprint Triathlon at Lake Icaria in Corning, IA. The triathlon includes a 600-meter swim, a 14 mile bike ride and a 5K run, making it an excellent challenge for athletes of all levels. The beautiful scenery of Lake Icaria adds to the experience, as participants swim in the clear waters of the lake, bike through the picturesque countryside, and run along the scenic park trails.
