Ball, who left us too soon at just ten years old due to sepsis. As September is both Sepsis Awareness Month and Treven's birthday month, this gathering is a special opportunity to celebrate his vibrant spirit while raising awareness of this critical health issue.
The race will take participants along scenic trails between the historic French Lick Springs Resort and West Baden Springs Hotels, making for a beautiful backdrop as we come together as a community. The event kicks off with registration at 7:00 a.m. and the race starting promptly at 8:00 a.m. Early registration is encouraged to secure your spot, as fees increase to $35 on race day. Plus, those who register by August 29 will receive a commemorative event t-shirt! Let's come together to honor Treven's legacy and support the Treven Ball Memorial Scholarship Fund. Your participation will help ensure that his spirit of love and kindness lives on.

THIS THIRD ANNUAL 5K RUN/WALK IS IN MEMORY OF TREVEN J. BALL, WHO PASSED AWAY UNEXPECTEDLY ON SEPTEMBER 13, 2022, FROM SEPSIS. HE WAS TEN YEARS OLD. SEPTEMBER IS SEPSIS AWARENESS MONTH AND ALSO TREVENS BIRTHDAY MONTH (19TH), SO WERE GATHERING TO HONOR HIS LIFE AND RAISE AWARENESS OF THIS DANGEROUS DISEASE. THIS RACE WILL FOLLOW TRAILS BETWEEN THE BEAUTIFUL, HISTORIC FRENCH LICK SPRINGS RESORT AND WEST BADEN SPRINGS HOTELS.
TREVEN WAS AN AMAZING YOUNG MAN. HIS HEART WAS FULL OF PURE LOVE, HIS SPEECH FULL OF KINDNESS, HIS CHARACTER PURE GOLD, AND HIS SMILEWELL, IT COULD SHINE THROUGH ANY FACE MASK. HE FILLED THE ROOM WITH LAUGHTER AND ENTERTAINMENT WHEREVER HE WENT. HE WAS NEVER SHORT FOR WORDS, A JOKE, OR AN UNEXPECTED HUG. TO KNOW TREVEN WAS TO FULLY KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO LOVE WITHOUT LIMITATIONS.
