This exciting event features a flat and fast scenic course that runs along the paved section of the picturesque Ernst Trail, with a small stretch on Mercer Pike Road. Participants will enjoy the stunning views of the lush bottom lands of the French Creek valley, which showcase a delightful mix of meadows, marshes, and vibrant hardwood and hemlock forests.
The race kicks off with the 15k starting at 7:30 AM, followed closely by the 5k at 7:35 AM. Runners can look forward to hydration stations along the course, as well as water and snacks waiting for them at the finish line. Flat and fast scenic course located on the paved section of the Ernst Trail with a small portion on Mercer Pike Road. Ernst Trail follows an old rail line traversing the lush bottom lands of French Creek valley with varied environments of meadow and marsh, hardwood stands and hemlock thickets. Water provided on the course, water and snacks at the finish, Awards ceremony immediately following the race.
