Join us for the second annual Tristan Calvin 5k Scholarship Run on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at the scenic Owen Valley cross-country course in Spencer, Owen. This uplifting event honors the vibrant spirit of Tristan Calvin, a beloved senior whose life was tragically cut short in a traffic accident on July 20th, 2023. The run not only celebrates his legacy but also aims to support a scholarship that embodies his generous nature and love for the community.
Kick off the day with registration opening at 6:45 AM, followed by the race start at 8:00 AM. Participants can choose to walk or run the 5k distance, making it a perfect occasion for family and friends to come together in memory of Tristan. The second annual Tristan Calvin 5k scholarship run will be on the Owen Valley xc course in memory of his many activities with the school. Tristan, as a Senior at Owen Valley had his life cut short during a traffic accident on July 20th, 2023. Tristan never met a stranger and was giving to a fault. His parents are starting this scholarship in his name to keep that giving spirit alive. Please consider a donation in his name and bringing your family and friends out to walk or run with us in his memory.
Registration will open at 6:45am with the race starting at 8:00am.
Awards will be awarded to the top running and walking individuals as well as runner age group winners.
