Join us for the Trot For HOPE on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, at the scenic Riverfront Park in Palatka, Florida! Participants can choose to trot, walk, jog, or run a fun 2-mile course, starting at 9:15 AM, following the Tiny Tot Turkey Trot Kids Fun Run at 9:00 AM.
Register early to take advantage of the discounted entry fees, with pre-registration costing just $20 until September 30. All finishers will receive a medal, and prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, as well as the first five Tiny Tot Turkey Trot participants. Bring your family, friends, or team from your school or church, as there’s a special prize for the group with the most participants! EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT 2 Mile Pre-Registered Entry Fee = $20 (must register by September 30)
2 Mile Pre-Registered Entry Fee = $25
2 Mile Race Day Entry Fee = $30 (cash/check only)
Also featuring the Tiny Tot Turkey Trot Kids Fun Run!! Kids run will be FIRST at 9:00, followed by the main run around 9:15.
Kids Fun Run Entry Fee = $10
Please add $1 for XXL and $2 for XXXL shirts.
In the event of inclement weather, emergency or a natural disaster, Hope FM and RaceSmith reserve the right to cancel or postpone the race. In the event of cancellation or postponement, there will be no refunds.

Kids Fun Run start - 9:00 AM; 2 Mile Race start immediately following, likely 9:15 AM
AWARDS
The Trot for HOPE will be a non-competitive, non-scored, fun, festive holiday event; be sure to look at the display clock when you finish, for your time. All finishers will receive a finisher's medal as they cross the finish line. Top 5 male and top 5 female finishers will receive a prize TBD.
The first five finishers of the Tiny Tot Turkey Trot will receive a prize TBD.
TEAM COMPETITION
Sign up with your church, school, business, club, or family to be eligible for the team competition. A prize will be awarded to the team with the most participants at the event: a Kona Ice [https://www.facebook.com/KonaIceofStAugustine] Party for up to 50 people.
AMENITIES
T-shirts, goody bag, post-race refreshments, event photos shared online. T-shirts in desired sizes available while supplies last. Register early to be sure to get one!
Day-of event coffee will be provided by Gem City Coffee [https://gemcitycoffeeinc.com/].

Walk or run through beautiful downtown Palatka with your Hope FM community before enjoying the rest of Thanksgiving day. Open to all ages. Babies in strollers are welcome! Dogs on leashes are welcome, owners must clean up after them. -

OPENS 20 AUGVolunteers will be contacted about a training meeting a couple of weeks before the event. We will also need help with packet pickup the day before the race, and with promoting the event in the weeks and months before. Let us know your availability!
