Participants can choose to run or walk the full 5K course at Mountain Ridge High School, with the race starting bright and early at 9:00 AM.
Get ready for an exciting morning filled with community spirit, as you compete for bragging rights and delicious pumpkin pie awards! Runners of all ages are encouraged to join, with age groups ranging from 1-9 to 70 and above. While registration opens at 7:30 AM in the school cafeteria, please note that race t-shirts are no longer available for new registrants. So lace up your sneakers, gather your friends and family, and make this Turkey Day one to remember! With an entry fee of $25 for adults and $20 for students, every step you take will help benefit the Mountain Ridge Running Programs. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled holiday tradition!

The 28th Annual Turkey 5k will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27th at Mountain Ridge High School.
This is a 5k run or walk. Both events will cover the entire 5k course.
Race starts at 9:00am.
Packet pick-up and registration will begin at 7:30am in the school cafeteria.
ADULTS: $25.00*
STUDENTS: $20.00*
*Price does not reflect the processing fee.
Our entry deadline for race t-shirts has passed. Any new registrants from this point forward will NOT receive a race t-shirt.
Age groups:
1-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39. 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70<
AWARDS: Pumpkin pies are presented to the top 3 finishers in each age group. Overall Male and Female finishers will receive an additional prize.
The proceeds from this race benefit the Mountain Ridge Running Programs.
