Its once again time to lace up your shoes and get ready to set a personal Turkey Day record in the annual running of the United Way Turkey Trot benefitting the United Way of Bartow County! One of Cartersvilles favorite Thanksgiving week events returns again on Saturday, November 23rd. 2024! This years event will once again be held at Sam Smith Park just outside downtown Cartersville, GA. Race Day Registration will begin @ 8:00 AM with the 5K Turkey Trot taking off at 9:00 AM. ANDCome and Win your TURKEY!!!! ALL AGE GROUP WINNERS GET A BIRD!
Come enjoy this fast, scenic route encircling Cartersville's Sam Smith Park. This race is a CERTIFIED 5K COURSE. (Certification # GA18041WC) and thus can be used as a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier!!
RACE REGISTRATION:
On-Line race registration runs until 11:59 PM, Sunday evening, November 17th. You must register by this date to guarantee your T-shirt size and lock in at the reduced rate!
Race Day Registration Rate: $40 5K / $35 2M.
RACE START-FINISH & RACE DAY PARKING:
*Both the Start and Finish Line(s) will be located at the entrance to the Sam Smith Soccer Complex, behind Carterville Middle School (off of Milner Road just past the intersection of Milner Rd. and Walnut Grove Rd.)
*There is PLENTY of Event Parking within the Cartersville Soccer Complex/Ric Mason Fields parking lot off of Milner Rd.
