The Twilight Trot 5k kicks off at 6:00 PM, followed closely by the Sunset Stroll at 6:05 PM, both starting and finishing at the Lakewalk Endion Station in Canal Park.
Participants can enjoy a picturesque course that takes runners and walkers along the lakefront, ensuring an unforgettable experience filled with community spirit and stunning views. Don’t forget to arrive early to secure parking and take part in the awards ceremony, which will be held between 6:45 and 7:00 PM. Whether you're racing for a cause or simply enjoying a beautiful evening stroll, the Twilight Trot and Sunset Stroll promises fun for everyone while supporting the Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota. Join us for the second annual Twilight Trot 5k and Sunset Stroll 1 mile walk! An event presented by Covenant Ability Network of Minnesota, featuring a 5k run out and back on the beautiful lake walk along Lake Superior, a 1-mile stroll heading towards the aerial lift bridge.
RACE STAT TIMES: Twilight Trot 5k 6:00pm, Sunset Stroll 1 mile walk 6:05pm
COURSE: UPDATE: The race will start and finish at the Lakewalk Endion Station. The course starts off heading towards Canal Park with a loop at the aerial lift bridge. Then heading north towards Leif Erickson Park for the final turnaround heading to the finish line. Please stay to the RIGHT side of the course, as runners will be going the opposite direction for a portion of the race.
AWARDS AND RACE RESULTS: The awards ceremony will take place between 6:45-7pm. Results will be posted online.
PARKING: Runners and walkers are encouraged to arrive early to allow yourself time to get to the start line. It is suggested that you use a nearby ramp or lot, and walk to the start line.
THE 5K WILL START AND FINISH AT ENDION STATION IN CANAL PARK. THERE ARE MANY PAID PARKING OPTIONS AVAILABLE IN CANAL PARK, INCLUDING:

PLEASE NOTE: The Lakewalk will NOT be closed to the public during the race. There is potential for congestion to occur on the trail at times. Please keep this in mind as you prepare for the race. We ask that you please share the trail by being courteous and respectful to those using the trail for non-5K associated activities.
