OBSTACLE COURSE (14 OBSTACLES / APPROX. 1.5 MILES TOTAL)
Competitors must complete each obstacle in order before moving on to the next. Course marshals will direct traffic as needed. These marshals will be GCHS JROTC Cadets.

OBSTACLE 1: INVERTED WALL
Climb the angled wall using the rungs on the overhanging side. Use leg drive for power and arms for pulling to go up and over the top in control.

OBSTACLE 2: BALANCE BEAM
Carefully traverse the beam from start to finish, maintaining balance and coordination. Falling requires a remount at the point of dismount.

OBSTACLE 3: 10-FOOT WALL
Scale the vertical wall using strength, technique, and problem-solving. Pull yourself up and over the top safely before dropping down under control.

OBSTACLE 4: DUCK Walk
Move forward in a low squat position, testing lower-body strength, mobility, and endurance.

OBSTACLE 5: CLEOPATRAS CRAWL
Navigate the vertical beam structure by climbing and maneuvering over the tall framework, emphasizing grip strength, upper-body control, and coordination.

OBSTACLE 6: BEAR CRAWL
Proceed through the course on hands and feet, simulating crawling over or under terrain. Maintain forward movement and body control throughout.
