Join us for the UNICO's Fall Walkathon 4 Families with ALS on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Belleville, Essex! This uplifting event aims to support local families battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and promises a day filled with community spirit and camaraderie. The fun kicks off at 9:00 AM at the Belleville Senior Citizens Recreation Center, where participants can check in, grab a T-shirt, and enjoy a complimentary coffee and bagel.
Choose your challenge: a spirited 5K race (3.1 miles) or a more leisurely 1.5-mile walk through the picturesque Branch Brook Park. Both routes will lead you back to the recreation center, where delicious hot dogs and drinks await, along with a moment to honor our sponsors and the families we are supporting. This is a family-friendly event, so gather your loved ones and friends to participate in a meaningful cause. Let’s come together to make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS!

UNICO OF BELLEVILLE ( A CHAPTER OF THE PREMIER ITALIAN AMERICAN SERVICE ORGANIZATION IN THE UNITED STATES) IS TEAMING UP WITH THE PSZBELIEVEFOUNDATION AND ROBERT LUONGO ALS FUND AS IT RAISES FUNDS FOR ESSEX COUNTY FAMILIES WITH ALS (LOU GEHRIGS DISEASE)

RACE/WALK STARTS AT 9:30 AM @ BELLEVILLE SENIOR CITIZENS RECREATION CENTER
125 FRANKLIN AVE, BELLEVILLE, NJ 07109
FREE BAGELS, COFFEE & WATER WILL BE SERVED BEFORE AND DURING THE WALK AND THEN HOTDOGS AND DRINKS AFTER AS WE TAKE A COUPLE OF MINUTES AND HONOR OUR SPONSORS AND THOSE REPRESENTING FAMILIES WITH ALS.
