Join us for the UNICO's Fall Walkathon 4 Families with ALS on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in beautiful Belleville, Essex. This uplifting event aims to raise crucial funds for local families affected by ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Participants can choose to take part in a 5K race (3.1 miles) or a more leisurely 1.5-mile walk, both of which will wind through the scenic Branch Brook Park.
Kick off the day at the Belleville Senior Citizens Recreation Center, where check-in begins at 9:30 AM. Everyone will receive a complimentary T-shirt and can enjoy free bagels, coffee, and water before and during the event. After the walk, treat yourself to hot dogs and drinks as we celebrate our sponsors and honor the families we are supporting. This family-friendly event encourages you to bring your kids and friends along for a day of fun and community spirit. Let’s come together to make a difference and spread awareness for those battling ALS!
