Join us for the 7th Annual Unity Wellness Center World AIDS Day Run/Walk on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in Auburn, Lee! This exciting event offers participants the chance to support a vital cause while enjoying a fun-filled day with family and friends. Choose between a timed 5K run or walk starting at 8:30 AM or a non-timed 1-mile walk kicking off at 8:00 AM. Registration is incredibly affordable at just $5 for either distance, with an option to purchase a stylish event t-shirt for an additional $20.
World AIDS Day serves as a global reminder that we can unite in the fight against HIV, celebrating the lives of those impacted by the disease and honoring those we’ve lost. The event will feature age group awards for the top three overall male and female runners, as well as awards for the top finishers in various age categories. After the race, enjoy refreshments and participate in a raffle—it's a perfect opportunity for the whole community to come together! Don't forget to register by October 6th to guarantee your t-shirt. Let’s make a difference together while having a great time!

AGE GROUP AWARDS - PRESENTED TO THE TOP THREE OVERALL MALE/FEMALE RUNNERS AND TO THE TOP MALE/FEMALE IN EACH AGE GROUP (18 & UNDER, 18-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+)
WE WILL HAVE A RAFFLE AND REFRESHMENTS FOLLOWING THE RUN - IT WILL BE A GREAT TIME FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!
The 1 MILE WALK will start at 8:00am; please note that this event will not be timed. The 5K RUN (OR WALK) timed race will begin at 8:30am.
WORLD AIDS DAY IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE WORLDWIDE TO UNITE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST HIV, TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV, AND TO COMMEMORATE THOSE WHO HAVE DIED FROM AN AIDS-RELATED ILLNESS. FOUNDED IN 1988, WORLD AIDS DAY WAS THE FIRST EVER GLOBAL HEALTH DAY.
UNITY WELLNESS CENTER PROVIDES HIV TESTING & COUNSELING, HIV PRIMARY MEDICAL CARE, MEDICAL CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, AND HIV PREVENTION EDUCATION AND AWARENESS PROGRAMS.
