This exciting event aims to raise awareness about wellness and mental well-being for veterinary students and professionals, and the best part? Dogs are invited to join in on the fun!
The event kicks off with check-in from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM, followed by the race start at 9:00 AM along the scenic UW Madison Lakeshore Path. Participants will enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, complete with a T-shirt and grab bag for registered runners, as well as the chance to win fantastic raffle prizes. Plus, a delicious breakfast awaits all attendees post-race! Make sure to register early, as T-shirts are not guaranteed after April 16th. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to promote mental well-being and have a great time with your furry friends!

EVENT DESCRIPTION
You are invited to participate in the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine SAVMA's Run/Walk 5k to raise awareness regarding wellness and mental well-being for veterinary students and professionals.
Dogs are welcome to participate in the race as well. *Completion of a waiver and submission of up to date vaccination documentation (Rabies and Distemper) are required for participation*
EVENT LOGISTICS:
* Check-In Time: 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM
* Race Start Time: 9:00 AM
PARKING:
* Lot 60 near the boat launch. Parking is free on the weekends.
***IF THERE IS RAIN OR SNOW DURING THE EVENT, THE RACE WILL STILL BE HELD***
Registered participants will receive a T-shirt and a grab bag. Raffle prizes and a breakfast will occur post race.
T-SHIRTS AREN'T GUARANTEED AFTER APRIL 16TH REGISTRATION.
The registration fee increases for day of registration so be sure to purchase tickets early!
