Join us for the exhilarating Viking Family & Friends Mile on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Forest Grove, Washington! This uplifting event is designed to unite the FGHS Cross Country community as we celebrate our senior athletes in a memorable night filled with camaraderie and competition. The festivities kick off at 4:15 PM with the Youth Mile for both boys and girls, followed by races for middle school and high school athletes, culminating in the highly anticipated community mile race at 6:15 PM. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a fun evening, there’s something for everyone, including a community walk/jog at 6:30 PM.
Entries for the Youth and Open Miles are just $10 per person, and every registration helps support our annual fundraiser. Bring your friends and family to cheer on the runners, and don’t miss the chance to contribute to a great cause while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. We’ll also be collecting cash/check donations on-site, and there may even be some exciting raffle prizes to win! Let’s make this event a fantastic celebration of community spirit and athletic achievement!

Organiser's Description
Let's bring the FGHS Cross Country community together to celebrate the team and recognize our seniors one last time! Cheer on the Cross Country team at their senior night followed by an opportunity to run a mile under the lights cheered on by the athletes.
