Traverse the 2,448 mile length of one of America's first numbered highways. Route 66 starts in Chicago, Illinois and ends in Santa Monica, California, crossing eight states along the way.
Form your team of up to 10 people and start walking. The average American walks between 2,000-5,000 steps each day. This fall, we are challenging you and your teammates to walk, run, hike or stroll at least 10,000 steps daily. Log miles on this site and aim to be the first team to complete the journey. Logging begins October 1st and ends November 30th.
FOR SIMPLICITY, WE'LL USE THE CONVERSION FACTOR OF 2,000 STEPS = 1 MILE
