Join us for the joyful "Walk Around the Block for Autism" on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Monroe, Ouachita! This vibrant community event features a 5K race and a 1-Mile Fun Walk/Run, designed to bring together families, friends, and community partners in celebration of our AUSOME families. The morning kicks off at 7:30 AM with registration and T-shirt pickup, followed by a warm-up session at 8:30 AM. Runners will take off for the 5K at 8:50 AM, while the 1-Mile Fun Walk/Run begins at 9:00 AM.
After the races, the festivities continue from 10:00 AM to noon with games, delicious food, music from a DJ, photo opportunities, and resource vendors. This event is all about inclusion and support, welcoming participants of all abilities, including strollers, scooters, and wheelchairs. Registration is affordable, with kids 12 and under at just $15 and participants 13 and up for $25, which includes a T-shirt if registered by March 7. Proceeds from the event benefit local disability families, promoting advocacy, peer support, and community activities.
