For those looking to challenge themselves further, there's an opportunity to continue on the full 10-mile route to Canopy Shores Park. Every step taken helps in the fight against child sexual abuse and supports survivors on their healing journey. Registration opens at 8:00 AM, and participants will receive an UBER code for a convenient ride back to the starting point. Join us in this uplifting event, where every step counts!

Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

We'll start registration at Flagler College at 8:00 AM on Friday, April 18th, and begin walking at 9:00 AM. Our first walk section is 4 miles, and we'll take a short water break at the Walmart Supercenter (2355 US-1, St. Augustine, FL 32086). Those who wish to finish the walk will continue walking to Canopy Shores Park - another 5 miles - where we'll end for the day and celebrate. Like in years past, we are partnering with Uber to provide the ability for walkers to drop at any point they wish and ride share their way off of the walk route. Ride Share codes will be provided to walkers at registration. All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration.
