Join the Laurens Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2026 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

Join us for a 5 mile walk to Sugar Sand Park (300 S Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL 33486), with the opportunity to walk another 5 miles back to our starting point at Bloomingdales at Town Center at Boca Raton.
An UBER code will be provided to walkers to cover the cost of a ride back from the walk.

We'll start registration at the Bloomingdales - Town Center at Boca Raton at 8:00 AM on Monday April 6th, and begin to walk at 9:00 PM. We'll walk 5 miles to Sugar Sand Park (300 S Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL 33486) where we will stop briefly for a water break. Those who wish to continue can join us for another 5 miles back to our starting point at Bloomingdales. An UBER code will be provided to walkers to cover the cost of a ride back from the walk. All participants will receive a t-shirt and drawstring backpack at registration. Like in years past, we are partnering with Uber to provide the ability for walkers to drop at any point they wish and ride share their way off of the walk route. Free ride share codes will be provided to walkers at registration. Please make sure to have the Uber app downloaded to your phone prior to your arrival.
