JOIN US FOR THE 1ST ANNUAL WALK 4 PICS 5K! ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS ARE WELCOME! OUR MISSION IS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF POST-INTENSIVE CARE SYNDROME (PICS) AND BRING TOGETHER A COMMUNITY OF ICU SURVIVORS, FAMILY MEMBERS, MEDICAL PROVIDERS, AND SUPPORTERS. WHETHER YOURE RUNNING, WALKING, OR CHEERING FROM THE SIDELINES, YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS SUPPORT ICU SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
PICS REFERS TO THE PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE AND EMOTIONAL CHALLENGES THAT ICU SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES OFTEN FACE LONG-TERM AFTER CRITICAL ILLNESS.
