Organiser's Description
This inaugural 5K for Food Justice will take place on the scenic waterfront path in Weehawken, NJ. At Food Justice for All, our mission is to provide education and resources to combat food insecurity in our local communities. 100% of the funds raised from the race will go to support PERC shelter in Union City, NJ as well as community education around food insecurity. We believe that communities are stronger when they come together. On race day we will offer a one-mile fun run for kids of all ages, as well as a 5K walk/run. These programs will also include an educational component around plant-based meals and effective ways to feed large groups of people in a changing world. Join us for a day of community engagement and fun!
